Well we had big plans for this photoshoot. We were going to utilize the great fall colors outside to showcase this little one’s smile. Mother nature had another plan for us though. Looks like we’ll have to wait till next year to do an outdoor shoot with little miss “k”. On the contrary though, I love how these images turned out! Just goes to show, you don’t need any special backdrop to capture great smiles and contagious laughter.
These images are a surprise for miss “k’s” mama. Her NaNa called and set up this photo session and was able to keep it under wraps. I’ve known this little one’s mama since we were young kids ourselves. I absolutely can’t wait to hear what she says when she sees these images!

Their doggy Izzy was so good! She sat wherever we placed her and smiled alongside my little subject. I love the shot of them kissing!
Aren’t this little girl’s features adorable? NaNa told me she thinks she has movie-star lips and I agree. And what about those long eye lashes and that beautiful complexion? I’m jealous!
Thanks for having me over because you brought some sunshine into an otherwise dreary, windy day. I love all the images I captured and I know your mama and daddy will too.
Let’s get together again this spring when it warms up!

I have more beautiful fall engagement photos to share! These are even more special to me since I’ve known the soon to be groom since he was a little guy. His older sister Laura and I have been friends for a long time. She’s got all the dirt on me!
Anyway, I was thrilled when Andrew and Jocelyn asked me to be their wedding photographer. The wedding day will be all sorts of fun especially since I’ll know a lot of the guests.
Anyway, back to their engagement photos . . . aren’t these gorgeous? I was immediately impressed with their wardrobe choice. Jocelyn has the prettiest hair and the turquoise shirt she paired with the funky scarf looked beautiful on her. Plus, they worked well with the autumn foliage colors.

The shot above on the swings only took two or ten different takes! ha ha We really wanted to get them smooching mid-air. I’m sure they didn’t mind our multiple attempts at getting it right.

I love the old barn that I took that last couple of photos in. It’s so different and I’m glad these guys let me try a couple ideas for photos there. They definitely have a unique feel to them.
Thanks for a great afternoon Jocelyn & Andrew! Can’t wait for your wedding in May. The Bellevue Berry Farm will be such a beautiful backdrop for your day!

The images I’m about to share are among some of my most favorite I’ve taken at a wedding to date! There were so many variables that made this wedding uniquely beautiful. From the moment I walked in and saw how stunning the bride looked in her dress I knew it was going to be a spectacular wedding. I loved how the bride wore her Great-Grandmother’s clip earrings is her hair. They looked perfect placed next to her curls.

I love the picture on the above right, taken from the hallway during their “first glance” moment. I was ecstatic that they chose the Joslyn Castle for their wedding and reception. I had no problem finding just the right setting for their “first glance”. Plus we had all sorts of great spots to take photos in after the wedding.

Can you see why I enjoyed this location so much? I had the best time exploring the Joslyn Castle with this couple. The other thing that makes these images so beautiful is the love between them. This couple is amazing. You can feel how much they care for one another within five minutes of meeting them. They have a warm and sincere way about them that made me feel so comfortable documenting their day. And . . . they also know how to have a good time and could get me laughing within moments.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart Jessica and Wes. I enjoyed working with you both and experiencing all the elements that made your day so special and unique.
