I’m really happy to share these maternity images I took in December. The couple is beautiful inside and out! I was happy to take them back to the same brick wall that we used in December 2007 for their holiday card images. How cool to look at the images below taken a year apart and reflect on how their lives are changing. I’d love to go this next December when their little girl is just starting to walk. Can’t you just picture the same brick wall scene but with a cute little dark haired girl holding on to mama and daddy’s hands?

Well we all know what comes next . . . newborn pictures! I always enjoy taking picture of brand new babies and creating birth announcements so the new parents can show off their little bundle of love. You can’t help but smile and say “ahhhhh, how cute” out loud when you receive one of these in the mail. So I’ve updated my baby announcement designs and put up samples on the cb Yates Photography proofing site.
Custom birth announcements are printed the same way as the custom Holiday cards. Here are more specifics:
- Custom birth announcements are not photographs, but are produced on state of the art digital printing presses. The printing facility uses real liquid ink, not toner like a color copier as some other printers use, to give the cards the look and feel of a very high quality printed piece.
- Cards are double sided (more room to show off your sweet little one!)
- Size is 5″x7″
- Ordered in increments of 25 (Each box of 25 cards is $45.00)
- Pricing includes envelopes
- There are multiple paper finishes available (matte, glossy, watercolor paper, and pearlescent)
- Announcements are completely customized so all the “busy new mama” has to do is address and stamp the envelopes and they’re ready to mail. (allowing much more time for cuddling, feeding, and probably the most important thing on a new mom’s mind . . . sleep)
I can’t wait to showcase some beautiful newborn babies on my blog. Here’s a favorite quote of mine about babies. They’re truly miracles, I can’t wait to grow my own little miracle someday.
“A baby will make love stronger, days shorter, nights longer, bankroll smaller, home happier, clothes shabbier, the past forgotten, and the future worth living for.” -unknown

I am happy to share these images of little baby “L”. I’ve known her mama since high school and she is beautiful inside and out. I’m so proud to see her enjoying life with her kind-hearted husband. They love being new parents and you don’t have to take my word for it. Just look at them lovin’ on their little girl.

Thanks again for a wonderful photoshoot. The weather was perfect to work in and so were the surroundings. I feel privileged to have these photos showcase my new blog. What a great way to kick off the new design/layout!

oh my is this little guy handsome! And he was so good at lookin’ cute! He didn’t even have to try. I had a ball photographing this family even though the humidity was close to unbearable. Thanks for working with me even though I know you were a little uncomfortable!
I sure hope Grandma Shari likes these images as much as I do.
Isn’t this last one of mom and dad alone romantic? Love it!
I will have the rest of your online gallery up in a day or two. You’re going to love your images!

I got to visit baby B recently for her 6 month photo shoot. I don’t think I’ve ever met a more smiley baby! She certainly makes my job easy since she’s so happy. I always enjoy visiting with her parents too.
I’m so glad we got to go outside and take some photos in their front yard. The last time I visited it was winter time and the outdoors were simply not an option.
Look how green their front yard was!

This baby’s blue eyes are spectacular! Her Mama found the perfect outfit to show them off.

Love these photos of Dad and daughter interacting. No wonder she’s such a happy baby!
Take care guys, I’ll have her entire 6 month gallery done and posted by tomorrow. Watch for your email with the link.

I’ve had the privilege to photograph Miss “K” lots of times this past year. I got to watch mom and dad snuggle her while I photographed them just a few short weeks after she was born. Now she’s toddling around, flashing her beautiful smile and pointing at all the interesting things she can find.
We had a “trash the cake” session in honor of her first birthday. I so enjoyed watching her dive in and then squish the frosting through her fingers. I’m sure glad we got some “pre-cake” shots before she dug in!

So glad her pal Max got in on the photo action!

It’s clearly evident how much she loves him. You don’t share cake frosting with just anyone!

I LOVE her little tummy in this one!

Such a little beauty!
